Motorcycle Accident Leaves One Man Seriously Injured in Norton County

Just before 10:30 am on Monday, June 29th, a vehicle traveling westbound on US Highway 36 turned in front of a motorcycle traveling eastbound, causing the rider to slam into the passenger side of the vehicle, and leaving him with serious injuries.


The first vehicle was a 2010 Ford F150, driven by 77-year-old Ronald Zwickle of Norton, Kansas. Zwickle sustained no injuries in the accident.


The motorcycle was a 1997 Harley Davidson, driven by 73-year-old Frank Daniels of Boise, Idaho. Daniels sustained serious injuries and was transported to Swedish Medical Center. He was not wearing a helmet.
