After Monday's active weather, we're not done yet.

Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms is possible this afternoon and evening across the region. While hail and an isolated tornado can't be ruled out, the primary concern today will be damaging winds.

💨 Wind gusts of 75-80 mph are possible with the strongest storms

🧊 Large hail up to 2 inches in diameter is possible.

🌫️ Blowing dust could become a concern if strong thunderstorm outflow winds develop.

Storms are expected to develop in eastern Colorado between 1 PM and 3 PM Mountain Time before quickly moving east-northeast. The peak severe weather window is expected from 3 PM to 6 PM Mountain Time (4 PM to 7 PM Central Time), with the severe threat diminishing by early evening.

🔥 In addition, a Red Flag Warning has been issued for portions of eastern Colorado. Hot temperatures near 100 degrees, low humidity, and south winds gusting 35 to 45 mph will create critical fire weather conditions this afternoon.
