KDOT Announces Approved July Bids; Three Local County Projects

The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place on July 22 in Topeka.

This includes the following local county projects in the Northwest District, District Three:

Cheyenne ‑ 12 C‑5347‑01 – Bridge over Big Timber Creek, located 12.0 miles north and 2.0 miles east of Bird City, bridge replacement, 0.2 mile, Wildcat Construction Co., Inc., Wichita, Kansas, $315,043.30.

Logan ‑ 40‑55 KA‑7662‑01 – U.S. 40: Beginning at Road 140, northeast to Road 270, milling and overlay, 14.7 miles, Venture Corporation, Great Bend, Kansas, $7,569,847.32.

Smith ‑ 8‑92 KA‑6471‑01 ‑ K‑8: Bridge 031 over Middle Beaver Creek, located 12.12 miles north of the U.S. 36/K‑8 junction, bridge replacement, Bridges Inc., Newton, Kansas, $2,926,555.65.
