Last night, the Annual Gem Hog Roast brought in hundreds to eat yummy food for a fundraiser for the Gem, KS community. The Gem Lions Club hosts this annual event at the Gem Community Building. Lots of picnic tables are set up outside, local music talent takes the stage to entertain, and many enjoyed a game of horseshoes. BBQ pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, and homemade desserts were on the menu.
