Colby/Thomas County Chamber announced this year's 2025 Colby Light Parade Winners! The judges had a difficult time deciding Saturday night as there were over 20 FANTASTIC entries! This year’s theme- Gingerbread Village- sparked extra sweetness throughout the lineup. From giant gingerbread men decorations to twinkling candy-cane details, many parade entries absolutely nailed the vision, bringing smiles to little ones and grown-ups alike.

The Colby Community College Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band concert scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 4, has been postponed due to illness. The performance will be rescheduled for a date to be determined during the spring semester. For more information, contact Band Director Michelle Meyer at 460-5519.

The 5th annual NWKS Radio Christmas Marketplace is officially in the books — and what a weekend it was! Even with the bitter cold, Northwest Kansas showed up in full holiday spirit at the Colby Event Center, filling the south gym with shoppers, vendors, and plenty of Christmas cheer.

As part of our annual Thanksgiving Feast Giveaway, NWKS Radio’s Chad Jones and Addison Stoddard loaded up the groceries—everything needed for a full holiday meal—and delivered them straight to the doorstep of one nominated Colby family. The bags were packed with all the classics: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls, green bean casserole fixings, a veggie tray, pies, and all the little touches that make Thanksgiving feel like home.
