One Woman Left Lightly Injured During Two-Vehicle Accident in Gove County

At 1:15 pm on Friday, July 10th, one vehicle struck another at an intersection in Gove County, leaving one of the drivers with a light injury.


A 2013 Ford Edge, driven by 58-year-old Shannon Crawford, was headed westbound on Gove BB Road, while a 1996 Ford F250, driven by 50-year-old Brandon Mader, was headed southbound on County Road 78.


Crawford failed to yield at a yield sign and struck Mader. Crawford was taken to the Gove County Medical Center with suspected minor injuries.


Neither driver was wearing safety restraints according to the Kansas Highway Patrol - Online Crash Logs.
