Match Month is underway at the Thomas County Community Foundation, where donations go further thanks to matching funds from the Hanson and Patterson Foundations. Glennis Jewell (Uhrich) Boyd was born October 29, 1936, to Jacob and Anna Laura (DeLong) Uhrich, at their farmhouse, south of Oakley, in Logan County, KS. She was the youngest of three sisters. Glennis left her life here on earth on March 30, 2026.

Today was the Grand Opening and ribbon cutting of Twisted Moustache Barber Shop in Goodland. Owner, Cindy Bohl who previously owned The 17th Street Barber Shop, is back, at her new location inside the Goodland Airport. It was a great turnout with good food, music and desserts.
