Arrest Made in Thomas County Burglary Investigation

The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of Leonard Malcolm Ramsey in connection with a burglary investigation that occurred on May 21, 2026, in Thomas County.

Following an extensive investigation, Ramsey was located and taken into custody. The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Plainville Police Department for their assistance and cooperation in locating and apprehending the suspect. We also extend our appreciation to the citizens of Thomas County, Osborne County, and Rooks County for their vigilance and assistance, which contributed to the successful location of the suspect.

This arrest is the result of the dedication and teamwork of law enforcement agencies working together to keep our communities safe.
