Freeze Watch In Effect for All of Local Area on Friday and Saturday

The National Weather Service (NWS) Office in Goodland has put a freeze watch in effect for the entire area on late Friday night to early Saturday morning.

The watch covers Cheyenne, Rawlins, Decatur, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Wallace, Logan, and Gove counties from 12 AM to 8 AM MDT, or 1 AM to 9 AM CDT.

With lows below 20 degrees, the freezing weather could damage crops, sensitive vegetation, and possibly plumbing. Make sure to take cautionary steps to protect your property from the freezing temps.
