Goodland Regional Medical Center: Breast Cancer 5K Walk Coming Up!
The Goodland Regional Medical Center sent in Kirsten and Jackie to talk about a great event for a great cause coming up this weekend in Goodland!
GRMC is hosting a 5k Walk/Run event on Saturday, October 3rd, at the Goodland high school track, to help raise money for Breast Cancer awareness and prevention. Early registration can be done using the QR code on the flyer attached to this article. In-person registration also can be done beginning at 8:30 am on Saturday.
The event gets started with registration from 8:30-9:30 am, as well as Yoga with Owen starting at 8:30 am. The walk/run will then get started at 9:30 am with a Pink-Out theme, so wear any and all pink you have!
There will also be food trucks at the event for those who want a bite to eat after walking all that way, a free t-shirt with your $30 registration, a t-shirt tie-dye station, and Early Detection Works will be in attendance for those who may need/want free breast cancer or cervical cancer inspections.
This is a great event to help support an important cause coming up on Saturday, October 3rd at the Goodland High School track, beginning at 8:30 am.
