Goodland Regional Medical Center Update: Slice of Life Recap, Foundation Update, More Events Coming!

Lots of different things have been going on involving the Goodland Regional Medical Center, so Jessica Kannady, Director of Community Education, and Roseline Flynn, Marketing and Foundation Manager, joined the Good Neighbor Hour to discuss some of the things that have gone on recently as well as some events coming up.
Firstly, Jessica and Roseline touched on the Slice of Life Golf Tournament that the hospital hosted. Everything ran smoothly, Friday's events went great, and over 30 teams competed. According to Roseline, there are still some numbers to be crunched, but at the moment, they raised close to $46,000 for the foundation and the hospital.
Speaking of the foundation, the hospital foundation is actually looking for more board members. The board meets once a month over lunch and discusses things like where to put funds and helping to coordinate events. If interested, you can email foundation@goodlandregional.com.
They also talked about a live auction opportunity to potentially win a trip to Colorado. You can visit their website at goodlandregional.com for more information or to bid on the trip. This will run from today, September 16th, to the end of the month, September 30th.
The last few items they wanted to cover included some educational events they have coming up. You can listen more starting at 7:11 in the interview below.
You can listen to the Good Neighbor Hour on Rockit 102.5 KLOE every weekday morning from 6-7 am mountain time.
