On Monday, April 13, the Goodland USD 352 Board of Education held a regular meeting. One of the big highlights from the meeting includes approving a new final day of school, and the kids will love it!
To start the meeting, there were some small reports and presentations, but nothing too much to report on.
However, a couple more items later, the board of education discussed, moved, and approved unanimously to move the final day of school from May 20 to May 15! They were able to move the last day of school due to taking no snow days throughout the year.
Lastly, a few smaller items, some executive sessions, and then approvals for staff changes in the district. Those include:
Amy Hofer, approved as Elementary School Teacher for the rest of the school year
Sharra Mae Tagaro, approved as Elementary School Teacher for the rest of the school year
Lisa Colby, approved as GJSHS Paraprofessional for the rest of the school year
Ashley Garza, approved as West Elementary ELL Paraprofessional for the rest of the school year
Amy Hofer, approved as High School Girls Head Basketball Coach for the 2026-27 season
Chelsie Howard, approved as North Elementary School Teacher for the 2026-27 school year
Kaylynn Kraybill, approved as Applied Technical Education Teacher for the 2026-27 school year
Andrew Luna, approved resignation as North Elementary 5th Grade Teacher
Bill Biermann, approved resignation as High School Girls Head Basketball Coach
The next meeting for the Goodland USD 352 Board of Education will be on Monday, April 27, starting at 6 pm at the District Office.
