Longtime Goodland, KS resident Ivan Earl Parks, 95, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the Greeley Long Term Care Facility in Tribune, KS.
Ivan was born on February 2, 1931 in Stockton, Kansas to Earl and Pearl (South) Parks. He attended school in Stockton, KS through the 8th grade.
On June 10, 1951, he married Glenda Jean Smith. To this union, two sons Danny and Randy were born.
Ivan worked most of his life as a farmer and rancher. He also worked as a truck driver hauling freight. He was member of the Goodland Masonic Lodge for over 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Glenda.
Surviving family includes his two sons Danny (Burlay) Parks of Sharon Springs and Randy (Mark Wingard) Parks of Kansas City, KS. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Cremation was chosen and no services will be held at this time.
