KDOT Announces Approved May Bids; Three Projects in Northwest District

The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place on May 20th in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.
The Northwest District, or District Three, includes three total projects:
Rooks ‑ U.S. 24, pavement restoration on U.S. 24 from Elm Street to Pleasant Street in Stockton - grading and surfacing, 0.3 mile, Morgan Brothers Construction, La Crosse, Kansas, $1,931,460.66.
Smith ‑ Bridge over East Beaver Creek, located 2.0 miles south and 3.0 miles west of Smith Center - bridge replacement, 0.5 mile, L & M Contractors Inc., Great Bend, Kansas, $783,676.75.
Statewide ‑ K‑247, K‑255, U.S. 183 and U.S. 183 Bypass in Ellis, Rooks, Russell, Rush and Trego counties - signing, Martin Outdoor Enterprises Inc., Pittsburg, Kansas, $269,131.20.
