Motorcycle Accident Leads to Minor Injury on Independence Day in Norton County

Just before 4:15 pm on Saturday, July 4th, a 2023 Street Glide Harley Davidson Motorcycle, driven by 54-year-old Steven Cole, was headed westbound on US Highway 36.


The motorcycle then moved onto the right shoulder, skidded and then rolled, flinging the driver off into the North Ditch around mile marker 128 in Norton County.


Cole was taken to the Norton County Hospital with suspected minor injuries.


He was wearing a helmet according to the Kansas Highway Patrol - Online Crash Logs.
