No One Injured in Semi-Truck Fire on Highway 83

This past Tuesday, another fire occurred in our listening area.

A semi truck caught fire on Highway 83 23 miles south of Oakley and 22 miles north of Scott City, right between the towns on the side of the road.

The fire involved one person and the truck driver was not hurt in the incident according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

The fire also stopped traffic for some time after the fire happened around 4:17 PM central time this Tuesday.
