Power Outage Scheduled in Colby on Thursday, May 28th

On Thursday, May 28, 2026 the Electric Department will have a scheduled power outage. The area affected by this outage is mainly the downtown and residential areas from College Dr North to as far as the ball fields on 10th St.

This outage is so the Electric department can do system upgrades and maintenance for the Power Plant Substation, which will start at 4 am with estimated completion unknown.

This is a scheduled outage and please do not contact Colby Communications (Dispatch) or City Hall to report this outage as these departments are already aware of the outage.
