Temporary Closure Planned on K-27 Railroad Crossing in Sharon Springs

Union Pacific plans to temporarily close its railroad crossing on K-27 in Sharon Springs for track replacement.

K-27 will be closed to traffic at the crossing from 7 a.m. on Sept. 1 through 6 p.m. on Sept. 3, conditions permitting. During the closure, motorists should follow the marked detour on U.S. 40, K-25 and K-96.

Union Pacific and its subcontractors will oversee the project and manage traffic control during the closure.
