The City of Colby Warns of Another Scam

The City of Colby has posted on their Facebook page regarding another popular scam that has been recently circulating in the area.

Scammers will pose as the Kansas Department of Transportation issuing traffic citations and suggesting making payments using links or QR codes. DO NOT click anything of these links or scan any QR codes. Even just interacting with these links can lead to fraud.

The City of Colby has provided some helpful tips and reminders above.
