Semi-Tractor Accident in Thomas County; Man Left with Minor Injuries

In the early morning hours on Monday, April 27, a man rolled a semi-tractor in Thomas County, leaving him with minor injuries.
Just before 5 am on Monday, April 27, 74-year-old John Gardiol of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was headed Eastbound on I-70 near mile marker 40 in Thomas County. The vehicle, a 2024 Peterbilt Tractor, entered the North ditch. Gardiol overcorrected, overturned the vehicle, and rolled once before resting on its wheels.
Gardiol was wearing safety restraints at the time of the accident and was transported to Citizens Medical Center with suspected minor injuries.
