Travis Scott Korbe, age 44, of Wallace, Kansas, passed away on April 11, 2026, in Colby, Kansas. He was born on April 27, 1981, in Lakin, Kansas, where he attended school and graduated from Lakin High School.
Travis was a strong-hearted and deeply caring man who loved his family above all else. He was a hard worker and always supported his family in every way he could. Those who knew him best understood he was truly a kindhearted man. He was also known as a good friend to many—loyal, dependable, and always willing to be there when it mattered most. He faced a rare form of cancer with incredible strength and determination, giving it one heck of a fight.
He is survived by his children, Spencer Jacobs, David, Ethan, Tyler, Travis Jr., and Emilee Korbe; his mother, Paula Korbe; his siblings, Stephanie Stroud, Chris Korbe, Andrew Korbe, and Caiti Korbe, along with their families; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Trevor Korbe; his father, Joe Korbe; and his grandparents, Berna and Allen Scott, and Leona and Alfred Korbe.
Travis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
