Wesley Melvin Reimer, was born February 16, 1948 to Clearance and Ethel (Sides) Reimer in Tribune, KS. He passed away peacefully May 26th, 2026 at age 78.
Wesley spent his childhood at Arrowhead Rd. Sharon Springs, KS. Attended West Bethany Free Methodist Church surrounded by family and friends. He graduated Wallace County High School in 1966, and Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland, KS with an associate’s degree in mechanics.
From 1969-1973, he served proudly in the Navy aboard the Tripoli aircraft carrier where he serviced helicopters. After service he returned home to help the family farm.
Recently moved to Hope Springs Assisted Living Facility where he met so many caring people during his stay.
Survived by two sisters, Connie Anderson of Lindsburg, KS and Cindy Rybacki of Bloomington, NE, as well as five nephews and two nieces. He was preceded in death by parents Clearance and Ethel, brother Delbert, and sister Shirley Beals.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
