Cross Country to host the Pioneer Marathon April 26

COLBY, Kan. (March 13, 2025) — The Colby Community College Cross Country program will host the Pioneer Marathon on Saturday, April 26, at the Colby Community College Farm east of Colby. The event offers race distances for various skill levels, including a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K that all begin at 10 a.m.

Sponsored by Hoover Lumber, the Pioneer Marathon is open to walkers, beginners, intermediate, and experienced runners and aims to bring the community together for a celebration of endurance, camaraderie, and fun while supporting a great cause. All proceeds will be used for scholarships in the cross country program.
