Colby Kiwanis Club Announces Annual Pancake Feed and Park Fundraiser

The Colby Kiwanis Club stopped by the NWKS Radio studios Friday morning, October 9, and even brought donuts! Club President Rick Dickman joined Joel Navarro on the air to talk about a couple of upcoming events and how the organization continues to give back to the Colby community.
The annual Kiwanis Pancake Feed is coming up Saturday, October 24, at the American Legion in Colby. The club will be serving homemade, made-from-scratch pancakes and sausage from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The cost is just $8 per person for all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage. Everyone is invited to stop by, enjoy a great breakfast, and support the Kiwanis Club.
Dickman also shared details about a special raffle benefiting the Kenton Krehbiel Inclusive Park, located next to the NWKS Radio studios in Colby.
One of Kenton's daughters makes a handmade afghan each year to raffle off, with all proceeds going toward maintaining the park. Raffle opportunities will be available around Colby this fall, with the drawing planned for December.
The park was created in Kenton's honor and features an all-inclusive playground where children of all abilities can play together.
NWKS Radio appreciates the Colby Kiwanis Club and everything its members do to make our community a better place!
Mark your calendars for October 24, bring your appetite, and support a great local organization!
