Waterline Improvement Project
The City of Colby is working with Midlands Contracting on the Water Line Improvement Project. This project was scheduled for fall of 2025 but will now be tentatively starting in 2026 and could take up to four months to complete. The location of this project is from Garfield to Franklin on Webster, please see the attached map, as a few outlying blocks will be affected. During this project there could be temporary street closures, some traffic delays and some brief interruption of water service. If your water service could be affected, door notices will be distributed. Private drives should remain open, if closure is necessary homeowners will be contacted. Streets shall remain open to traffic as much as possible. Alley access will be closed during this project. Please move vehicles and dumpsters from the alleys during this large utility project.
