Goodland Fog Seal Project Moved Due to Weather

The City of Goodland was supposed to go through with a fog seal project on Wednesday, September 30th, but it has since been moved to Friday, October 2nd due to incoming rain and weather.

Here is the full release from the City of Goodland:

"It is anticipated that the streets specified below will be fog sealed Friday, October 2nd, barring unforeseen weather or mechanical difficulties. If your property is located along these areas, you will be notified via hand-delivered door flyer. Please move your vehicles away from the street for the 24-hour duration of the indicated date, beginning at midnight, so the street can be cleaned prior to the fog sealing. Any vehicles not moved form the street will be towed. Also, we kindly ask that you do not water your yard that morning so that crews can fog seal street effectively. Streets being fog sealed may be blocked to any and all through traffic for approximately two to four hours.

Fog Seal Streets:

• Cherry Railroad to 19th, 16th Highway Entrance

• 3rd Kansas to Caldwell

• Center 8th to 17th

• 16th Industrial Park

• Grandview, Woodland, D'lao

• Sherman 8th to 13th

• 11th Harrison to Eastridge

• Caldwell 8th to 17th
