It was time once again for the bi-weekly check-in with Goodland Regional Medical Center. This time, in to visit was CEO of GRMC, Lucretia Stargell, and she talked about new services being provided, the great work her staff does, and the potential for some new building plans in Goodland.

First and foremost, Stargell wanted to talk about some new services being provided at GRMC. Those include retina services from a new doctor out of Colorado, a new dermatologist, a new ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) doctor, and new pediatricians. The GRMC is very committed to bringing important, reliable physicians to the local area, so that way someone doesn't have to travel hours to see them.

Another item Stargell wanted to mention was giving her staffs a shoutout for all the great work they do. Between Goodland and Atwood, they do so many great events, provide helpful information, and give the rural area so many important services. She mentioned the approximate 300 staff members and how thankful she is for them.

The last item she wanted to touch on was in regards to new building plans for Goodland Regional Medical Center. Board members and Stargell have been in huge talks about the details of potentially building a new hospital or making some huge renovations to the current one.

Stargell went through the timeline a little bit, the work that has already been done, the work that is currently going on, and the potential work to come in the future. Exciting things are happening at GRMC and CEO Lucretia Stargell is very optimistic for what is to come.
