Goodland Regional Medical Center Update: Recruitment Opportunities and Specialty Clinic News

Jessica Kannady and Kayla Luera with the Goodland Regional Medical Center joined the Good Neighbor Hour to discuss things they've got going on. Those include discussing recruitment into their system, the importance of rural hospitals, and news coming from the specialty clinic.
First off, Kayla started by talking about all the recruitment that the GRMC has done at various places and times. Those include working with schools, job fairs, and other job recruiting events. She also talked about why working in a rural hospital is different and what she thinks is better than working at a big hospital. Points she made included knowing everyone she works with, getting to know her patients, and the small-town feel.
Next, Jessica talked about a bunch of great things coming to the specialty clinic, including neurology, the eye center, and other specialty clinic services. She also highlighted that it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Anyone needing or wanting a screening can call Kirsten Bowen at 785-890-6033.
Below are some resources from Jessica and the GRMC as well as the full interview with Jessica and Kayla.
