KDOT Announces Approved August Bids; Four in Northwest Kansas

The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place on Aug. 19 in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.


Here is the list of approved bids from the Northwest Kansas District, District 3:


Cheyenne ‑ K‑27: From the U.S. 36/K‑27 west junction north to the Kansas/Nebraska state line, sealing, 21.1 miles - Heft & Sons LLC, Greensburg, Kansas, $945,675.60.


Norton ‑ U.S. 36: From the Decatur/Norton county line east to 0.11 mile west of the U.S. 36/K‑383 west junction, sealing, 21.3 miles - Heft & Sons LLC, Greensburg, Kansas, $510,358.30.


Norton ‑ K‑9: From the Norton/Decatur county line east to the K‑9/U.S. 283 west junction, sealing, 16.1 miles - Heft & Sons LLC, Greensburg, Kansas, $701,969.60.


Phillips ‑ Phillips County: Major collectors, minor collectors and local roads east of U.S. 183, signing, 154.0 miles - Sign-Up LTD DBA Haren's Trees And Critters, Webster City, Iowa, $274,296.48.
