Chairman for the Sherman County Commission, Steve Evert, joined the Good Neighbor Hour to discuss the latest Sherman County Commission meeting as well as a couple other happenings within Sherman County.
There wasn't too much on the agenda for the Monday, August 31st meeting. The main item to come from the meeting was the purchase of multiple pieces of equipment for the county. Those include a new vehicle lift, a new loader, and a new trailer. These bids were presented by Rod Roeder, head of Public Works.
The other main item that Evert discussed was the open positions for 911 operators. There has been a position filled, but they are still looking for more. If interested, get in contact with the County offices at 785-890-4800.
You can listen to the Good Neighbor Hour on Rockit 102.5 KLOE from 6-7 am mountain time every weekday morning.
