Lois Ann Morris, born Lois Ann Wright, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado. She was born on November 12, 1952, to Harold Dean and Betty Lou (Elliott) Wright at the Boothroy Memorial Hospital in Goodland, Kansas.

Lois built a long and steady career as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Aurora, Colorado, serving for 34 years. She graduated from Kanorado High School and also studied Accounting and Computer Applications at Parks College. She was known for enjoying life’s simple pleasures and the moments that brought people together. She loved bowling, going to the Renaissance Festival, traveling every chance she could, and watching football. She also enjoyed taking her best friend her dog Kane on walks. More than anything, Lois loved spending as much time as possible with her grandkids and family, and those times together will remain a treasured part of her life and memory.

Lois is survived by her sons, Bradley (Tracie) of Aurora, Colorado, and Bruce of Lawrence, Kansas, and by her sister, Dora Heupel of Russell, Kansas. Her family was an important part of her life, and she will be remembered with love by those who knew her best.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Dean Wright and her mother, Betty Lou Wright; sister, Nancy Wright; and grandson, Christopher Rohr.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Bateman Funeral Home, 211 E 11th St, Goodland. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Bateman Funeral Home. Private inurnment at Kanorado Cemetery at a later date.

Lois will be remembered for her years of faithful work, her enjoyment of family life, and the happiness she found in the people and activities she loved. Her memory will be carried forward by her family and all who shared in her life.
