NWKS Radio Honored with Friends of 4-H Award at Thomas County 4-H Banquet

NWKS Radio is proud to share that we were awarded the Friend of 4-H honor at this year’s Thomas County 4-H Awards Banquet! The recognition was presented Friday, November 21, at the Thomas County 4-H Building during an evening filled with supper, celebration, and recognition of the county’s outstanding youth.

This award means a great deal to our team. Each summer during fair week, NWKS Radio broadcasts the Thomas County Fair livestock shows, helping make the experience accessible to friends and families across the region who can’t be there in person. Through our live video feeds on Facebook, viewers near and far are able to watch the shows, cheer on local youth, and learn more about the hard work that goes into every 4-H project.

Addison and Connor from NWKS Radio attended the banquet, joining families and volunteers as 4-H members received pins, project awards, and recognition for their achievements over the past year. The room was full of excitement as kids celebrated their growth, accomplishments, and the valuable life skills they develop through 4-H.

4-H plays a vital role in our communities, giving young people the chance to learn leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and practical skills they’ll carry into adulthood. NWKS Radio is honored to support these youth, their families, and the volunteers who make it all possible.

We are grateful for the partnership and look forward to continuing to spotlight the incredible work of Thomas County 4-H and all 4-H programs across Northwest Kansas. Congratulations to all the award recipients—and thank you for letting us be part of your 4-H story!
