Rawlins County USD 105 announced on Wednesday that they will not be moving on as a division finalist in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights competition. However, they did not walk away from the competition empty handed.

The T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights competition is a community support driven competition that gives any and all schools around the nation to try and win up to $1 million for a new football field and facility. USD 105 Rawlins County Schools participated, as well as many Kansas schools, but USD 105 was lucky enough to move on in one round, winning $5,000 in the process.

However, they were not chosen as one of the forty division finalists to potentially win $25,000. While they did not move on, they were still extremely appreciative of all the community support that has been shown during the competition.

Below is the post they made on Facebook.

There is one remaining Kansas school as a division finalist, which is Baldwin High School in Baldwin City, Kansas. They have the chance to come out as a division winner and potentially be voted as the overall winner.

If you'd like to support any of the division finalists, you can follow this link, pick a division, and vote. Kansas is in the Mid-West division.

Congratulations to Rawlins County USD 105 for winning $5,000 in this competition!
