Ray Leroy Myers

Goodland, Kansas resident Ray Leroy Myers, 69, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Goodland on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Ray was born on July 15, 1956 in Hagerstown, MD to Raymond L. and Gloria M. (Shafer) Myers. He was one of 3 children. Ray attended school in Hagerstown, MD, and graduated from Boonsburg High School in 1974.

In 1992, Ray moved to Goodland, KS, where he started his independent trucking company, Myers Transport.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his significant other Brenda Johann of Goodland, KS, his sister Joy (Basil) Lewis of Williamsport, MD, his brother Harry (Kay) Myers of Coleman, MI and two aunts Irene Shafer of Hagerstown, MD and Carol Williamson of Frederick, MD.
