Reports of Field Fires in Decatur County, KS

NWKS Radio has received reports of multiple fires in rural Decatur County. Listeners let us know that there is fire west of Clayton and possible another fire northwest of Jennings. NWKS Radio contacted Decatur County and they were unable to give us much information, but they did confirm that the Decatur Fire Department is out fighting the fire at the time of the call 2:50 pm cst on Oct 16th.

No definitive cause of the fires, but with lightening and winds in the area, it could be a possibility.
