Rocks and Rockets Coming to Colby This Weekend

Have an interest in all things space and rocks? Well there's an event coming up in Colby just for you! It's the Rocks and Rockets event, coming to the Colby Event Center on Saturday, August 15th from 1-4:30 pm.

At the Rocks and Rockets event, you can enjoy free educational and fun content about astrology and space! These include hands-on fossil digs, a giant Mars map, astronaut challenges, and much more.

This is the 5th year of this event being put on, and it only continues to get better. Joel Navarro with NWKS Radio interviewed Sarah Lamm one of the organizers of this event, to which she attested to the steady growth.

"Our peak was our third year...last year was pretty close to our third year, but we hope to see even more people. But yes, we've definitely seen an overall increase in people."

This is a free event, and there's no need to register! Just show up ready to learn and have fun!
