Looking for something fun to do this week? From family activities and community events to golf tournaments, science exhibits, mud racing, and live worship, there's something happening across the NWKS Radio listening area. Here are a few highlights for the week of August 10 through August 16.
Thursday, August 13
Game Night in Colby Grab some friends and head to the Colby Housing Authority for Game Night beginning at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun and meet new people.

Harvest Moon Paint & Sip in Goodland Looking for a creative evening? The Carnegie Arts Center in Goodland hosts its Harvest Moon Paint & Sip beginning at 7 p.m. Supplies and refreshments are provided, making it a great night out with friends.
Friday, August 14
Park N Play Back to School Bash Steever Park in Goodland will be the place to be Friday evening. Enjoy a free concert featuring Josh Holland and DJ Andrew Melia, plus the City of Goodland's free Community Appreciation BBQ. It's a great way to celebrate the end of summer before school begins.
Mystery Party at the Goodland Public Library Kids can cool off and enjoy an evening of mystery and fun at the Goodland Public Library. Separate sessions are available for younger and older children, with water activities planned. Be sure to bring towels, swimsuits or clothes that can get wet, and lawn chairs for the adults.
Saturday, August 15
Foundation of Hope Golf Tournament - Oakley Golfers can hit the links at Oakley Country Club during the Foundation of Hope Hawaiian-themed golf tournament. Every swing helps support Northwest Kansas families battling cancer, making it a fun day for an even greater cause.
Thomas County Farmers Market Shop local at the Thomas County Farmers Market from 9 a.m. until noon at Fike Park in Colby. Fresh produce, baked goods, handmade items, and more await shoppers every Saturday morning.

Rocks & Rockets in Colby The Colby Event Center hosts Rocks & Rockets from 1 to 4:30 p.m. This free family event features hands-on science activities, fossil digs, giant Mars maps, astronaut-style challenges, and interactive demonstrations.
Mud Races in Goodland Get ready for plenty of horsepower and mud at the Sherman County Fairgrounds. ATVs, UTVs, 4x4s, and even Power Wheels racers will take to the mud in this exciting afternoon event.
Worship by the Water in Atwood Finish the day with an evening of worship at Lake Atwood beginning at 6 p.m. This year's event features music from Hannah Kerr and Cade Thompson, along with special speaker Cody Jarvis. Food trucks will be on site, so bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a great evening by the lake.
