Snake Bites a Horse's Nose

A listener in east Thomas County, KS had to help his horse breathe after a snake bit it's nose. The snake bit right on the horse's muzzle and was struggling to breathe so the owner used a hose to help it breathe before getting it proper treatment.

The listener/ owner was surprised to see a snake bite in mid- November so he went looking for the culprit. What did he find in his pasture? Five snakes out and about! Be careful where you step.....or put your nose..... with un-seasonally warm temps, snakes are still active.
