Stanley Dean Kramer

July 14, 1961 - February 13, 2026

Stanley Dean Kramer, 64, passed away on February 13, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado, following a sudden illness.

Stan was born on July 14, 1961, in Burlington, Colorado, to Max and Mildred Kramer. He was the third of four children—Sherry, Steve, Stan, and Nathan. He spent his childhood helping on the family farm north of Bethune, where he learned the values of hard work and responsibility that would guide him throughout his life.

A graduate of Bethune School, Stan continued working in agriculture after high school. During this time, he met the love of his life, Dawn Ann Harrel. The two were married on November 3, 1983, at the First Christian Church in Burlington, beginning a loving partnership that lasted 42 years. Together they welcomed two children, Stephanie Ann (Kramer) Miller and Christopher Dean Kramer.

In 2006, Stan and Dawn moved to Colorado’s western slope, where Stan began a new chapter in the oil and gas industry. This career would eventually bring them to the Front Range, north of Denver, in October 2012.

Stan was known for his strong work ethic, his reliability, and his deep devotion to his family. Outside of work, he enjoyed the outdoors—especially hunting, fishing, and camping across the state he loved.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Mildred Kramer; his brother, Steve Kramer; his niece, Tristan Rice; and his in‑laws, John and Mary Ann Harrel.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Ann of Johnstown, CO; his daughter, Stephanie, and her husband, Steve Miller, of Parker, Colorado, and their children, Paxton and Lexi; his son, Chris, and his wife, Ashley Kramer, of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by his siblings Sherry (Larry) Friesth and Nathan (Amy Barlow) Kramer, along with numerous extended family members who will miss him dearly.

Stan will be remembered for his dedication, his kindness, and the quiet strength he brought to all who knew him.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made out to the Bethune School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
