Zac Brown Band Makes Concert History by Giving Away Cruises to Fans

Talk about leaving a concert with more than just great memories!

Fans attending Zac Brown Band's recent sold out concert at Boston's iconic Fenway Park got the surprise of a lifetime when frontman Zac Brown announced that every person in attendance would receive a cruise for two aboard the new Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber. More than 37,000 fans were at the show, making it what organizers are calling the largest surprise audience giveaway in live entertainment history, with an estimated value of more than $40 million.

Before performing the band's hit "Same Boat," Brown stunned the crowd with the announcement.

"Tonight we're going to do something that even Jimmy Buffett would say is crazy," Brown told the cheering audience. "I'm buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat."

The giveaway celebrated Zac Brown Band's 15th consecutive sold out show at Fenway Park, another record for the group at the legendary ballpark. Fans claimed their cruise by texting a special code displayed during the concert.

The surprises aren't stopping in Boston. Throughout the band's 2026 Love & Fear Tour, fans at every stop have the opportunity to win cruises aboard the new Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, which launches in January 2027. The ship will even feature "Same Boat," a live music venue personally designed by Zac Brown that captures the feel of one of his concerts at sea.

For concertgoers, it was one of those unforgettable "did that really just happen?" moments. One minute they were singing along to their favorite Zac Brown Band songs, and the next they were planning a tropical vacation.

It's safe to say this is one concert souvenir that will be tough to top!
