When an EF3 tornado tore through Grinnell, Kansas, on May 18, 2025, it left destruction in its wake—damaging homes, schools, and even the local cemetery. Among the many beloved landmarks impacted was the Cow Paddy Golf Club, a cherished nine-hole course nestled on the north edge of town. But while the tornado may have toppled flags and twisted fairways, it couldn’t shake the spirit of Grinnell.
