Clean up at Villa High Pond

Did you see smoke this afternoon?? The City of Colby and the Colby Fire Department was doing a controlled burn around Villa High Pond today.  You can see how calm it was out by looking at the reflections in the water.... so it was a perfect day!  Brush and weeds are removed and burned in the rocks surrounding the pond yearly.
