🎬🌊 End of Summer Bash Returns to Colby Aquatic Park for 4th Year – Movies, Hot Dogs, and a Splash of Fun for a Great Cause! 🌭🏴‍☠️

NWKS Radio is making a splash one more time before summer fades into fall!

For the fourth year in a row, we’re thrilled to host our End of Summer Bash at the Colby Aquatic Park — and you're invited to join the fun! Mark your calendar for the final day the Aquatic Park will be open this season and come out for a community celebration packed with movies, food, and fun... all while supporting a fantastic cause.

📅 WHEN: Sunday, August 10 Doors open at 4:00 PM

🎥 PIRATE-THEMED MOVIE NIGHT:

• 5:00 PM – Hook (Rated PG – nostalgic family adventure)

• 7:30 PM – Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (Rated PG-13 – classic swashbuckling action) Both shown on a giant daylight-visible LED screen you can enjoy from the pool, patio, or your favorite floatie!

🌭 HOT DOG SUPPER:6:00 – 7:00 PM Served up by our local heroes – Colby Firefighters and Thomas County EMS 

–PLUS cotton candy and sno cones for a free will donation to Play 315, and the Colby Aquatic Park concession stand will be open.

🎟️ ADMISSION:

• $15 per person

• $50 for a 4-pack

• Pay at the door – includes admission to BOTH movies and the hot dog supper. Proceeds benefit Play 315, a grassroots committee of educators, parents, and community members raising funds for a much-needed renovation of the Colby Public Schools playground. The current equipment has served generations (some for over 30 years!), and the vision for the new playground is an inclusive, accessible space that supports physical, emotional, and social development for ALL students.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Whether you want to float in the pool while watching the movie, lounge under the stars, or kick back with a blanket and your favorite snacks, this event is the perfect way to close out summer with your friends and family — and support a great cause while you do it.
