KDOT announces approved October bids
The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place Oct. 22, 2025, in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.

Norton ‑ 36‑69 KA‑7787‑01 – U.S. 36, from the east city limits of Norton east to the Norton/Phillips county line, milling and overlay, 13.6 miles, Bettis Asphalt & Construction Inc., Topeka, Kansas, $3,409,956.12.
Phillips ‑ 36‑74 KA‑7788‑01 – U.S. 36, from the east city limits of Phillipsburg east to the Smith/Phillips county line, milling and overlay, 13.2 miles, Venture Corporation, Great Bend, Kansas, $3,184,468.76.
Phillips ‑ 183‑74 KA‑7789‑01 – U.S. 183, from 0.6 mile north of the U.S. 36/U.S. 183 junction north to the Kansas/Nebraska state line, milling and overlay, 18.1 miles, Venture Corporation, Great Bend, Kansas, $4,290,554.32.
Rawlins ‑ 77 C‑5256‑01 – Major collectors west of K‑25, signing, 109.2 miles, Hamm Contracting LLC, Marion, South Dakota, $240,664.75.
Rooks ‑ 18‑82 KA‑7721‑01 – K‑18, from the Rooks/Graham county line east to Road 5, milling and overlay, 8.5 miles, Bettis Asphalt & Construction Inc., Topeka, Kansas, $3,423,020.15.
