The Kansas City Chiefs are bringing in competition at kicker, signing former Baltimore Ravens All-Pro Justin Tucker to their practice squad. The move comes after Harrison Butker missed two field goals in Sunday's 20-to-3 loss to Seattle. Butker has now missed five field goals this season. Tucker, a seven-time Pro Bowler, hasn't played since 2024 and served a ten-game NFL suspension last year following allegations of sexual misconduct, which he has denied. Butker remains Kansas City's starting kicker for now, with the Chiefs preparing to face Denver on Sunday.
Week Nine of the NFL season kicks off tonight at Lambeau Field, as the Green Bay Packers host the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football. Green Bay looks to bounce back from a narrow 20-to-17 loss to Detroit on Sunday, while Carolina hopes to rebound after a blowout loss to Tampa Bay. Kickoff is set for 7:15 CT / 6:15 MT on Prime Video
