Oakley School Board Official Election Results Posted

Oakley's school board elections results were finalized today, November 18.

Each Special question vote was officially upheld, with the Oakley School District bond vote passing 506-486 and the proposed 1% sales tax to help the bond passed 435-303.
Russ Kahle ran unopposed for mayor, getting 551 total votes for the spot.

Two spots were voted on for Oakley City Council, with Brian Joseph and Doug Reed beating out Tom Wiens and Kile B. Zerr for the city council seats.
Winona City's mayor and city council candidates ran unopposed, with Dustin Moser in at mayor, then Colton Rogge and Lee Hillary taking the two city council positions.
Russell Springs ran two elections in which every candidate ran uncontested as well, with Brent Weinland voted mayor and Austin Zerr, Larry Thacker, Joye Rogge, Gary Ochs and Foard Kemp taking the five open city council spots.
Christopher Crotts, Chad Lauber and Carrie Evins took the three Board of Education spots for USD 274, beating out Stephanie Mizell. Darlene Chaput and Jodee Reed ran unopposed for the 2-year unexpired terms on the same Board of Education.,
For USD 275's BOE, Austin Zerr, Angela Moore, Mark Hanson and Kori Moser ran unopposed for the four spots.
Dan Brooks, Camron Funk and Bruce McKain won the three BOE spots in USD 241.
Julia Cheney, Yanet Contreras and Lakin Dreiling got the three BOE spots in USD 466.
Adam Marcotte, James V. Myers and Matt Price ran unopposed for the three BOE spots in USD 467.
The Golden Prairie District 12 Extension was won by Amber Wolking and Jennifer Collins, both running unopposed.
