Scheduled Power Outage in Colby Oct 10 at 7am

From CityOfColbyKS.gov: On Friday, October 10, 2025 the Electric Department will have a scheduled power outage. The area affected by this outage is mainly the downtown and residential areas from College Dr North to as far as the ball fields on 10th St. Schools and emergency facilities will not be affected as power will be generated to keep them online. This outage is so the Electric department can do system upgrades and maintenance for the Power Plant Substation. This outage will start at 7 am and estimated completion is unknown. This is a scheduled outage and please do not contact Colby Communications (Dispatch) or City Hall to report this outage as these departments are already aware of the outage.
