At the Scott City Triangular, Goodland split its two matches, sweeping rival Colby in straight sets before falling to host Scott City in three sets after winning the opening set. Scott City completed an unbeaten night with a three-set victory over Colby.

A busy Saturday of regional college football is ahead. Kansas State welcomes 22nd-ranked Houston to Manhattan, looking to bounce back from its loss to Cincinnati. Kickoff is at 2:30 CT on 100.3 the Ride. Kansas hits the road to face 12th-ranked Utah, coming off a 55-nothing shutout of Middle Tennessee. Late kickoff is at 9:15 CT on FOC 97.9. While Nebraska hosts seventh-ranked Indiana in a Big Ten showdown. And Colorado has the weekend off
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked up their first win of the season Thursday night, knocking off the Dallas Cowboys 24-16. Rookie quarterback and former Kansas Jayhawk Jalon Daniels helped lead Tampa Bay to the upset. Bucky Irving scored twice, including a touchdown reception from Daniels, as the Buccaneers erased a 10-7 halftime deficit. The Denver Broncos look to get back on track Sunday when they visit the winless Chargers. Denver enters at 2-and-2, with head coach Sean Payton taking back offensive play-calling duties following the team's slow offensive start. Kickoff Sunday is set for 2:05 Mountain Time. The Cleveland Guardians have forced a winner-take-all Game Five in the American League Division Series. Cleveland rallied for a 9-5 victory over the Chicago White Sox Thursday night, using a six-run sixth inning to erase a deficit. José Ramírez and Patrick Bailey each homered as the Guardians evened the series at two games apiece. The deciding Game Five is Saturday night in Cleveland. Meanwhile, the National League Championship Series gets underway Sunday night as theMilwaukee Brewers host the defending World Series champion LA Dodgers.
