–Ulysses Quad: Goodland lost in three to Ulysses but swept Hugoton. Colby also split their two matches, falling to Hugoton but defeating Ulysses. Both matches went three sets.

BASEBALL

A tough Thursday for the Royals and Rockies. Kansas City fell to the White Sox 9-1, as Chicago clinched a playoff spot. Meanwhile, Colorado closed out its home schedule with a 12-8 loss to Arizona, despite hitting three home runs. Both teams have one series remaining in the regular season. The season concludes this weekend for both teams with Colorado visiting the White Sox and the Royals hosting Cleveland.

Packers 14 v Falcons 35 Thursday night Prime NFL game

The Chiefs and Broncos are both back in action Sunday. Kansas City takes its 2-and-0 record to Miami for a noon CT kickoff against the Dolphins on 100.3 the Ride. Then Sunday night, Denver hosts the LA Rams at 6:20 Mountain on Rocket 102.5 KLOE.

COLLEGE FB

Conference play takes center stage for several of our regional college football teams Saturday. Kansas State puts its 3-and-0 record on the line at Cincinnati in its Big 12 opener, with kickoff at 6 Central on 100.3 the Ride. Nebraska is also 3-and-0 and opens Big Ten play on the road at Michigan State. And Colorado looks to bounce back from its first loss, as the 2-and-1 Buffs open Big 12 play at Baylor. Kansas has the weekend off.
